W　万物の根元（アルケー）を水と考え、存在する全てのものが、それから生成し、それへと消滅していくものだと考えた。

H　ギリシャ哲学の開祖・万物アルケーを、神話的な神ではなくて、自然的・物質的なものと考え、これを＜水＞であると唱えた。万物は水から生じ水に帰るといった。

タレスは、万物の根元を水としているところから、魂との遭遇体験をしていない可能性が高い。

Thales's possibility of not having carried out encounter experience with a soul from the place which is using the root of Banbutu as water is high.
